• Does the app need internet? No. All educational content is built in. You can use History, Atlas, Academy and Arena offline.
• Do I need an account? No sign-up. Your name, progress and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• How do I reset progress? Open Profile → Reset progress inside the app.
• Is Wheel Chase free? The app is free to download and use for learning and play.
• Who is this app for? Anyone interested in traditional games, world culture, history and outdoor play — ages 4+ with parental guidance for younger children.

This Privacy Policy describes how Wheel Chase ("the App"), operated by Joseph Hunter ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use our iOS application.

1. Summary

Wheel Chase is an educational app. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell your personal data. Most information stays on your device.

2. Information we collect

Information stored on your device (local only):

• Optional display name you enter during onboarding
• App preferences (e.g. favourite hoop type)
• Learning and game progress (lessons completed, nations visited, achievements, scores, daily challenge progress)
• Onboarding completion status

This data is saved using your device's local storage (UserDefaults) and is not transmitted to our servers unless you contact us by email.

Information we do not collect:

• Location data
• Contacts, photos or camera access
• Payment or financial information (unless processed by Apple for in-app purchases, if any)
• Advertising identifiers for third-party ad networks (the App does not show third-party ads)

3. How we use information

• To personalise your experience inside the App (greeting, progress, achievements)
• To save your learning and game state between sessions
• To respond to support emails you send us voluntarily

4. Third-party services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect device and usage data according to their own privacy policy. We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in Wheel Chase.

5. Children's privacy

Wheel Chase is suitable for general audiences and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App itself. If you believe a child has provided personal information via email, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data retention & deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete the App or use Reset progress in Profile. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.

7. Your rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold (e.g. if you emailed us). Contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
